He's so affectionate too, considering he was a feral who was labelled "unadoptable." There's a sad story in my area. A woman was walking her two dogs when they started to yelp. She went to help them and got electrocuted. It turns out a power line was down. It was the Kilby area that I've taken photos of, and I was actually there a day before. Somebody heard her yelling and saved her, but the dogs died. She is still in the hospital and has lost both her arms. It turns out she was a huge animal person and somebody is going by to feed her cats and such. I hope they can stay in the house until she comes home.
I contacted the paper to see if there was any assistance needed in feeding the animals, but they've not got back to me. Iwill wait a bit and then, perhaps, I'll just drop off some kibbles at the office anyways. It's a small town. I'm sure somebody can use it.
Jean Anouilh said "There will always be a lost dog somewhere that will prevent me from being happy." That about sums it up. I lack the turn-off switch.
Poe is a little cutie puss!

ReplyDeleteThat is very tragic. That poor woman and her poor dogs, hopefully the cats will be alright.
