Is She Fat ( Early weight shaming)

I was watching one of those "where are they now" shows and Tina Cole was being interviewed.  She stated that they had tested six hundred women for the part of Don Grady's wife (Robbie on the show).  When Tina was cast, Don pulled a pout and almost quit.  He was used to the "surfer girl type" and she was "round" (at this point, Tina  made curve signs with her hands).  This nonsense still goes on, with really great actresses getting denied parts when they hit forty.  Yet, guys that age are cast with women who are about twenty three as their girlfriend.

Can you imagine if the roles were reversed and society started to shame guys who were short?  Or put on a few pounds.  What if they got called in and were given "the talk."  No...they can get away with it and still get cast with hotties.
