Scene / Seen (Thirty One Days of Halloween) --Does This Look Familiar?

This building has been used as the backdrop for films and shows that were produced in this area.  It's massive inside, with moss growing on the rock walls.  Since it is several stories high, the interior has that height.
This track goes up, up, up.  You have to be there to get the full scope of it.  We were told that one of the carts broke free once.  By the time it hit the bottom, the combination of its speed and the heavy load it was carrying, moved the cart through the wall.

The wagon below was the ambulance.  If a person were injured, it would taken to the accident site and the individual would be placed onto the metal mesh bed that's visible.  To me, it looked like something out of a horror movie===where the hapless actors come upon an old operating room of a crazed scientist.

  1. Such interesting content on this series - I love this time of year, perhaps because of those things lurking in the subconscious during the change of the season, the dying off of most things green, the change in the temps, shorter days, and harvesting.

  2. September has always been my favourite time of year. I envy people who can paint, as I love that particular light that exists during that time of year. I also enjoy the mist that burns off when the sun comes up.
