Scene / Seen (Thirty One Days of Halloween)---The Beautiful and the Dead
While we may have selfies, the people of the past had death masks as a way to keep the dearly departed close to them. Casts were made of the dead's face. Centuries later, they look at us still. I noticed that the one woman seemed to have a great sense of humour. I bet she was a hoot in life.

I loathe selfies and the bimbo's who can't stop taking them.
ReplyDeleteI never take selfies. I like to take photos of what's around me, but never myself. I swear it says something about us as a society that people don't take shots of what is around them, or of their friends. Instead, it's all self focused.
